Philippines Next Top Model: Bikini Shoot in Public

I have finally watched the premiere episode of Philippines’ Next Top Model over at YouTube and concluded that I would not bitch about the sucky host, the awful script, the pretentious editing, the overly loud musical scoring, the lack of interviews, the wrong reasoning for eliminating candidates, and the overall poor effort to copycat America’s Next Top Model (right down to the intro).  Instead, I would feature each photoshoot whenever it has become available.  (Don’t expect the self-proclaimed official uploader on YouTube to be the “fastest on the planet.”)

 

The photoshoot challenge for the first episode features a bikini pictorial along the busy Rizal Avenue in Manila’s Santa Cruz district, complete with onlookers.  You know how most Filipinas are not into two-piece bikinis (they would even bring jeans to the beach), better yet show off their almost-naked bodies among people who probably haven’t seen a model in their whole lives.
