Gay Word of the Week: Boogie Wonderland

“Tok tok, Mare. Merry Christmas!”

Nagbibiro siyempre si Wendy. Matagal pa ang Pasko, pero matagal na siyang nakaabang sa may pintuan ng kanyang kaibigang si Cheska. Hindi kasi nito sinasagot ang kanyang paulit-ulit na pagkatok.

“Mare, sayang naman itong niluto kong pochero.  Lalamig ito, sige ka.” Paulit-ulit kinatok ni Wendy ang pinto, at sa puntong ito naisipan lang niyang ipihit ang tarangkahan.  Bukas pala ito.

Madilim sa bahay ni Cheska.  Dahan-dahang pumasok si Wendy habang naninibago pa ang kanyang paningin.  Sinubukang balansehin ni Wendy ang pochero sa isang kamay habang kinakapa naman ng kabilang kamay ang sindihan ng ilaw sa pader.

Wala sa paligid si Misis.  Pinatong na lang ni Wendy ang ulam sa mesa’t pinasok ang nag-iisang kuwarto roon.  Baka sakaling tulog pa rin ang kumare, pero hindi pala.

Ang Kagandahang Tunay

May nahalungkat kets sa kablogan recently. (Salamat kay Mareng Ika.) Meron daw kasing blog somewhere out there…benith da pelmunlay…na nagbulgar “daw” ng trulilitang katauhan ni Migs ng Manila Gay Guy. Pinapalabas ng mga miyembro ng TM (Team Maasim) na imposible sa kagandahan ni Migs ang makabooking ng basketbolista, makarelasyon ng taartits, makadyug ang isang abogadong may asawa na, at iba pang windang come na relationship stories na mababasa sa kanyang blog.

At naglabasan ang mga reaksyon ng mga ex-readers ni Migs. Ewww daw… Chakra Khan daw… Chabelita, ikaw ba ‘yan?

Pinoy Blog Superstar January 2008 Nominees!

This announcement is gonna be short and sweet…

I have finally chosen the nominees for the “Best Blog Writer” for January 2008. It’s time once again for…

Pinoy Blog SOOperstar!

Please do note that I have tweaked my judging process a little, since I have become quite busier than usual these days:

1) All bloggers who added me in their blogroll are qualified, but bloggers should post at least five entries in a month. However, only the last three entries will be judged. In the case of podcasters, three entries are the minimum.

2) The blogs are then divided into groups, with nominees from the previous month delegated to the Red Team, the new entries delegated to the White Team, and the rest are properly sorted. Meanwhile, previous winners between October 2007 and September 2008 will compete for “The” Pinoy Blog Superstar 2008. Details will be revealed in the coming months.

3) Each blog is judged according to the following preliminary criteria:

* Is the author passionate with blogging?

* Does the author write with quality content?

* Does the author write with original content?

4) The blogs that stand out from these criteria would then undergo a second round of judging according to the following criteria:

* Does the author write in a consistent style?

* Has it kept you engaged in reading?

* Does the blog deserve more readers?

Since there are currently eight teams in my blogroll (with team names inspired from “Star Olympics” because I love German Moreno), only one nominee is chosen in each group.

Again, to my blogroll friends: Don’t be sad if you weren’t nominated. It’s a tough competition, as well as a tough decision.

Matagal na ang tag na itets ni Reyna Elena, pero ngayon lang ako nagkaroon ng chance na makapaghalungkat ng aking mahiwagang baul na naglalaman ng limpak-limpak na kayamanan.

I was supposed to feature the Top 5 Most Visited Posts of All Time, but that would only turn into the Top 5 Most Visited Hot Men if you know what I mean. Instead, I present a variety of most visited and most controversial blog posts since June 10, 2004 (I started blogging in MySpace).

And who cannot blame the occasional casual Net surfer to stumble upon this hottie? After all, he did the impossible by appearing on Playgirl with a flaccid penis, but boy/girl/bakla/tomboy he sure made the readers go gaga. Check out why.

2) Random Hot Men: Simon Atkins, a Sight for Sore Eyes – The most-visited Pinoy hunk in my blog. Talaga namang tumulo ang lahat ng likido sa katawan ng mga dear readers gaya ng pawis at laway habang pinagmamasdan at hinahangaan ang Pinakawafung Green Archer sa balat ng lupa.

What’s the latest about him? Well, I’m not sure who’s he dating now, but they say it’s his high school sweetheart.
