Ever wonder what it looked like to watch a gay-themed drama on TV? Worry no more.
Part 2 is after the jump. Go…

It just occurred to me that my blog has reached 200,000 page views. Not bad for my first year on WordPress.
By the way, this song is kinda catchy, but what got me is the music video.
Enjoy after the jump!

I’m bad at keeping promises…Sorry guys…
I’ll just make up for it instead.

The Asian Idol Winner
Nagulat ang lahat, pati ang winner…

I’m currently updating my blogroll and have to do some stuff. Maruja Sunday Specials #21 will be posted on Tuesday (or Wednesday).
In the meantime, let’s enjoy this…
Part 2 is after the jump. Go!

As you may have known, nagsusulat na ako sa website ng Asian Idol. (For the love lang ‘yun ha!
Hmpf!

I still don’t get how this Nouvelle Star (French Idol) auditionee does it. I’ll let you do the guessing game, too.
Video clip after the jump.

Iba dapat iba-blog ko ngayon (baka later na lang ‘yun), pero may nabasa ako sa Internet that really got me…
She left her home in the northern Philippines with a dream: To give her 6-year-old daughter Marivic a brighter future. After 18 years, Leonora Somera, now 64, has yet to realize any of that dream, a dream that has turned into her worst nightmare. After working diligently for her employer for two years, he died and his son moved to Al-Baha, about 275 kilometers south of Jeddah. He brought Leonora along and that is where her sufferings began.

Koya, gising na…
Welcome to the awarding ceremonies of this month’s Pinoy Blog SOOperstar!
(applause)
Before anything else, may we acknowledge the presence of Her Excellency, President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo…

Huwag naman! Tinakot niyo tuloy…Wiz ko na siya ma-sight…
Lesson of the Week
* “No matter how tempting, never fall asleep while having a haircut. The stylists hate it.”
I don’t know about you guys, but having my hair cut has a calming effect. However, it comes to a point when I would just close my eyes and would just wake up once everything is done.
What I thought as a “good thing” apparently does not sit well with the stylists I had visited. They would instead provide you with what I call “half-service”. The most recent one, in an upscale salon, the stylist forgot (or deliberately did not) apply hair wax on my newly-trimmed hair after my deep salon slumber. I was supposed to give a decent tip for all the “inconvenience” I cause but she was nowhere to be found (you would know if the stylist would ask for a tip if he or she stands near the reception as you pay).
I probably need to schedule my visits to the salon carefully next time.

* “Give in to your parents’ wishes. It’s the least you can do.”
I’ve noticed that my Dad hasn’t been reading newspapers lately and I wondered why, but I didn’t asked.

I saw this cool song over at MTV once and the title skipped my mind, but I could remember the band’s name sounds “Piolo-ish” if you know what I mean.
“Love Me Butch” is a Malaysian hardcore/ screamo band. Their recent album “This is the New Pop” has been promoted extensively over Asia, including the beautiful cesspool called Da Philippines. While in Manila, they performed on MTV Music Summit 2006 and Pulp Summerslam 7.
The band recently released their collaboration with local emo rock band Chicosci entitled “This is Our Year” (you should hear in on their MySpace page, really good) .
In the meantime, here’s their video of “Hollywood Holiday” (and judging from the video, and how similar it is from our local overly-CG rock videos, it looks like it was shot here).
Appreciate it after the jump.
