You would not believe how elated I was while reading a newspaper article this morning.

Lucas Gil, Empress Maruja’s Brazilian man-god…
is working…
as a model…
here…
in da Philippines…
HUWAAAAT?

It’s no secret that the local modeling scene is experience the wave, the Samba Wave. Brazilian models are in demand in fashion runways and advertisements. And why not? With great genetic pool and their amazing work ethic, it’s not surprising that stylists, designers, photographers, and even clients, ask for Brazilian models in their latest projects.

You may think that they are depriving our local models of work. Well, no. You don’t put a Brazilian model for, say, Jollibee.

Lucas, se você lesse este, eu gostaria de dizer que eu espero que você apreciasse trabalhar aqui no terceiro mundo encantador.
