Philippine Idol Updates: Apple, Ken, and Armarie Form New Singing Group

I have been wanting to write about this, but the accompanying YouTube clips prohibit embedding.  Not anymore.

Anyway, Philippine Idol finalists Applie Chiu, Ken Dingle, and Armarie Cruz banded together and formed “AKA.” They are currently doing the rounds in the hotel lounge circuit.

Good thing to hear Ken not messing up on the songs, jazz songs at that. Now if only he was this good back in the day…Hmmm…

This is just to show that there really is life after Philippine Idol. I mean, could somebody tell what the heck happened to the Yachang and Pokwang look-alikes over at Pinoy Big Brother Talent Portion?

Philippine Idol Updates: Gian, Miguel, and Drae Perform at “Animo Night”

Just a little trivia: three of Philippine Idol finalists came from La Salle.

Drae Ybañez, Miguel Mendoza, and Gian Magdangal sang “Magsimula Ka” at La Salle’s “Animo Night” concert held at La Salle Greenhills.  Philippine Idol’s host Ryan Agoncillo, who also happens to be a La Sallian, introduced the three.
