Up dharma Down is one of the most successful Filipino indie bands to date, after winning NU 107 FM’s In the Raw Award for best unsigned band and Best New Artista on last year’s NU Rock Awards.
They are also among the few Filipino bands that were featured internationally, being the first Pinoy band in MTV Asia’s “Advanced Warning” and Mark Coles’ BBC Radio Show.
Apart from “Oo,” “Hiwaga” in my opinion has got to be one of the finest singles they have in their debut album Fragmented (although almost all of their tracks are accolade-worthy). It’s so refreshing to listen, with lyrics that are calming yet provoking.

im a super big fan of UDD. hindi ako nagsasawang pakinggan cd nila
I actually bought three copies of their album when I finally saw them on stock earlier this year. I intend to give away the two other copies as gifts a decade or two from now. Hopefully the CDs will still be in good condition.
