Drae Ybanez and Arms Cruz: Lihim Kong Paraiso

Two of Philippine Idol finalists, Drae Ybanez and Armarie Cruz, collaborated together with JBoy Gonzales, S. J. (a Jesuit priest and composer of “Panunumpa”) for this unreleased OPM entitled “Lihim Kong Paraiso” (My Secret Paradise).  My judgment?  Simply beautiful.

Philippine Idol Mau Marcelo Performs in ASAP

Our first Philippine Idol Mau Marcelo appears for the first time outside of ABC as one of the singers featured in ABS-CBN’s variety show ASAP together with fellow singing competition winners such as Sarah Geronimo (Star for a Night), Rachelle Ann Go (Search for a Star), Frenchie Dy (Star in a Million), and that amateur acoustic singer from Pinoy Dream Academy.

It’s very clear that our Philippine Idol lords over Grand Star Dreamer Yeng Constantino.  However, it would be better if Mau (as well as the other singers) choose their own songs instead of belting out their “winning numbers.”  Another thing:  What’s with Mau’s hair?  Then again, who am I to complain?

Sexbomb Returns in Eat Bulaga

The Sexbomb Girls return to Eat Bulaga, the Philippines’ longest-running variety show where they became famous, to perform their version of Joey de Leon’s “Itaktak Mo.”  It seems that their messy departure from EB has long been forgotten.

Question now is:  How are they supposed to “permanently” return with the EB Babes in the picture?

Diyosa ng mga Tricycle Drivers?

May isang tricycle driver sa amin na ewan ko ba kung ano’ng ginawa ko sa kanya’t may tama siya sa akin.

Minsan sumakay ako sa tricycle niya nang minsang papalabas aketch ng village.  Kinamusta ko naman si Jun, mukha namang mabait (not to mention maganda ang katawan).

At nang bababa ako, nag-unat ng leeg.  Nangawit daw.  Tinanong ko naman kung bakit.

“Nangawit kasi sa kakatingin sa pasahero ko.”

Kung hindi ka lang mabait eh…
